In many villages, towns, and even cities there are skilled artisans who make many beautiful things. But they often face tough challenges. They have to sell their lovely creations to middlemen for very little money, and these middlemen make a lot of profit without giving the artisans due credit or fair money.

We, at Prajas, found out about this when we visited the Kutch region of Gujarat. This made us want to help these artisans, the first people in this chain of artisanal wonders but the last when it comes to being recognised or benefited. That's why we started our brand. The word "Prajas" means “being born of”.
